Craftie Café: Wplus9 Encouraging Words.

Image
I’m back again sharing a whole bunch of cards that I made for Craftie Café! The theme this month is graduation but I couldn’t pass up this WPlus9 stamp set – Encouraging words . This time I decided to use WPlus9 Happy Wishes stamp which meant playing around with inks. I decided to use my Altenew inks – but you can use what you have in your stash – for me I really wanted three shades of pink and two shades of green as well as a few greys to complete the look I got in this card.   To replicate this card - I first traced a large heart (in pencil) to guide where my flowers and leaves needed to be stamped. Once I finished stamping around the pencil marks, I die-cut the heart. I added tulle and twine in between the heart and card base for added interest and finished the card off by heat embossing the sentiment on grey card and some My Little Paper World sequins.  The second card uses the same ca
