Ink Road Stamps: Friday Feature

Just quickly sharing a card I created for Ink Road Stamps using the stamp set full circle. This card was quite basically a simple, go crazy, "stamp a circle" background but I really wanted to play on the circle idea - so... I created a little window where the sentiment would go and decorated the inside of the card. I also added silver (Nuvo Gilding Flakes) for added interest.
This was such a fun idea that I created a second card - same idea just a slightly different circle background.

Have you tried a window card? Do you like to decorate the inside of a card to match the outside theme? It's not something I always do but I love how it turned out and how much more personal it makes a card feel.

Growing in Unity: Day 1

Yippee!! After waiting 11 months, 10 days, it's finally my week to share my Unity cards. 5 whole days of inspiration is coming your way...oh! and lets not forget the sponsored giveaway by Unity at the end of my week - a grab bag with 25 random stamps! My first card I decided to use one of my favourite sets - I actually combined two (no, three!) Unity sets that really go well together. How do you use your Unity stamps? Would you mix and match them? When I first starting stamping (15 years ago) the thought of mixing sets would make me cringe - but now... no problems! I think it's a great way to make the most of your stamp collection. A Super Quick Card!

Just sharing another card I made (with the help of master 2 1/2yo). Stamp is unity -  Vase with stripes.  C oloured with prisma pencils and gamsol. A super quick card to make as master 2 1/2yo did most of the work.
