A gift...

Super quick post today... Just wanted to share this framed gift I made for my sister's friend. I printed the details on some paper and used Kaisercrafts Butterflies die. I then added some sequins.  Love making personalised gifts. :) Thanks for stopping by. Samantha

Another Paper Flourish June card revealed.

I have to say that being on Paper Flourish Kaisercraft Card Kit Design Team has so far been an amazing experience...even if its only been a month!!! Aside from the lovely Kaiser products I get to play with its been a huge learning experience. This card is one example of this. I've never worked from a kit before, I've always just bought paper that I love and mixed it with other brands of paper I love (Shhhh....Its resulted in the hoarding of quite a lot of miscellaneous pattern paper over the years!) So....needless to say when I received my June Kit I immediately went for the paper I LOVED - the kraft card was first, pinks were next, followed by anything neutral. There was one sheet of paper I put aside. I even showed my Hubby who agreed that the 'paper' wasn't my "style" and I'm pretty sure the word 'ugly' was used. :) So after I created a few cards (and had a few ideas of what to create with the left overs) I was left with one sheet o

Today I'm sharing a card I created and I just have to say how much I love this stamp/die set from Mama Elephant. This sentiment is so beautiful that I had to use it - I'll be saving this card for next years mothers day :) Just not sure if its for my mum or for me....lol (I really love this card!) I also got to (finally!!!) try creating my own night sky background using distress inks -     I used Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves, Victorian Velvet, and Antique Linen. This video by Kristina Werner is an excellent video showing you the technique involved. Simple really....mask it off and start blending till your happy :) I added 'droplets' of Dylusions spray - White Linen and gold and silver leaf to the stars and moon to give them an awesome shine. The photos don't show it - but they're very bright :) I plan on making a whole bunch of cards using this stamp set, as you'll see in the next photo I went a little over

Yay! I'm designing for...

I have some wonderful exciting new to share with you this post. I was offered a position to design for the Paper Flourish - Kaisercraft Kit Club Design Team...and....happily accepted! These kits will be showcasing Kaiserkraft - an Aussie brand that have a huge range of crafty goodness - stamps, paperpacks (LOVE THESE!!), embellishments, and very new, dies! I'm very excited (and nervous) to get my hand on some of these and show you what I can create with them - hopefully giving you some inspiration to make your own awesome cards, tags whatever you wish, with these awesome products. Here is one of a 3 set card created using the June Kit, which is now featured on their blog (with instructions!)  Don't know what a Kaisercraft Kit Club is?? Click  here  to go to the Paper Flourish Blog and find out!!! Other cards I created using this kit will be showcased on Paper Flourish Blog or facebook page  for the month of June. Here is one card I created using leftove
