Hello! Welcome to Day 4 of the sneak peeks of the Jaded Blossom July 2020 Release!! Seriously, I've had such a great creative week guest designing for Jaded Blossom. Here is my crafty project using Mini Birthday Coffee Art! This is a freebie currently available with the July stamp release! I paired the new stamp set with the new release Stencil:  Coffee Bean  and Jaded Blossoms fun Paper Bag die. I also added the images from the Birthday Art Stamp set which goes with the  Coffee Art Stamp  which also has a new release outline die. Check out the Jaded Blossom blog for some great sneak peeks and new release stamp, die and stencil information! Happy Crafting! Samantha

Jaded Blossom: Release Day 3

Image
Happy Wednesday! Today is Day 3 of Jaded Blossom's July Stamp Release! Here is a fun Tag I made using the new stamp set Coffee Tags . I first die cut the Treat Tag Bag  using Kraft card and corrugated paper. I then used the Coffee Stain stencil and blended brown ink in to the tag. After this, I stamped the Coffee Tag image onto the tag. I then stamped and fussy cut the coffee cup image and coloured it in with Prisma Color Pencils and I also added some paper piecing detail. I adhered this to the card with foam tape. Lastly, I gather ribbon around the top of the tag and secured with a bow twine. Jaded Blossom's July 2020 Release will include: 6 -  4 x 6 Stamp Sets 2  - New Dies 2  - New Stencils  1  - 3x4 Freebie Stamp There is also a GREAT gotta have it now deal you won't want to miss!!! Check out the details here along with some great inspiration from the Jaded Blossom design team. Happy Crafting! Samanth...

Jaded Blossom: Release Day 2

Image
Here we are Day 2 of Jaded Blossoms July release! I was super excited to play around with this stamp set - could't resist making a card with the latest Somebunny Needs Coffee stamp ! I first created my background using the background die. I thought that orange would be a great colour to work into this card. The strips were die cut out and adhered to my A6 card front. The bunny and carrot images were stamped and cut out with my Silhouette Cameo. I used Prisma pencils to colour in all the images and then stamped the sentiment on orange card. Next, I adhered all the images onto the card front. I embellished the card with the carrots, enamel dots and a twine bow. I adore this bunny - it's like he is sitting there full on coffee and carrots (in cake form I'd totally have both!). Check out Day 2 July release on the  Jaded Blossom  blog for more release stamps and inspiration!   Happy Crafting! Samantha

Jaded Blossom: Release Day 1

Image
Today is Release Day 1 for Jaded Blossom ! Here is my project using a previously release die Ric Rac Topper Die  and one of July's latest released stamp Gnome Brewed . You can faintly see I used the new  Coffee Bean Stencil  to create my background on the Ric Rac Topper die. I stamped the gnome and used my Silhouette Cameo to cut him out. I coloured him in with Prisma colored pencils and used foam tape to adhere him to the Ric Rac Topper. I embellished it with a few of the extra images in the stamp set and a twine bow. This is a fun Topper to add to a gifted bag of coffee beans. The  Ric Rac Topper Die is one of my favourite Jaded Blossom dies. It goes wonderfully with the new release too! Jaded Blossom is revealing 2 new dies and 2 new stamp sets today - check out the blog - here . Don't forget to come back tomorrow for Day 2 Jaded Blossom July release day. Happy Crafting! Samantha

Monkey Card

Image
Firstly, my little goal of keeping my blog up to date by using the app is not working! The app. is pretty basic and has some serious issues that I wont even bother going into! For those who do like my card inspirations I can say that my instagram is regularly updated - come over and say hello! My Little Paper World on Instagram - here So on to the card... I'm a little in love with monkeys at the moment - so don't be surprised if the next few cards are of monkeys! This little guy is a unity itty bitty stamp. I also get a chance to use my new dies from Waffle Flower. This is a 5x7 sized card. Love it! I coloured them in with my prismacolor pencils and gamsol.  The second card I made (below) is smaller using My Little Paper World Tribal nesting dies.  Entered into Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes . Happy Crafting! Samantha These premium steel dies are compatible with most die-cutting machines such as Cuttlebug, V...

Still Catching Up!

Image
So most of my cards are stamped with Unity Stamps - I love red rubber stamping and they have such a large variety that I can purchase a whole bunch at a time and get the most out of postage costs! Plus they always have sales! BONUS!  So this card I made a few weeks back, originally with intentions to make it very colourful! Unfortunately time was not on my side, I got the background done (in white) and loved it, so... I left it as is.  I added a few strips of white using My Little Paper World stitched line dies and some white dots with a gel pen.  Happy Crafting!  Samantha These premium steel dies are compatible with most die-cutting machines such as Cuttlebug, Vagabond or Bigshot.  Prices (in AU$) see here and PayPal available. Please visit My Little Paper World for any questions or feel free to pm me. https://www.facebook.com/ groups/mylittlepaperworld/ International Postage Available.

You are TEA-riffic!

I'm big on repetitive stamping at the moment! Take a image, stamp it (either randomly or with some sort of order), colour it in (or in this case colour some of it in!) and assemble a card...  This card uses Unity Stamp - Tea Love . I went around each image with prismacolor pencils and used washi tape, enamel dots and My Little Paper World Corner dies to give it a little more interest!  I really like how bold and bright this card turned out and... I was able to use some left over card stock - I've been clearing out a few craft items and didn't want to waste those cut off bits that I'm sure we all collect!  Entered into SSS - Anything Goes Thanks for stopping by and don't forget I'm hosting a creative challenge - open to all! For details head on over to my  Facebook group  - You could win an awesome prize and the best part is you don't need to use any  My Little Paper World  products to enter (though nice t...

Take Two!

Had another play last night with Unity Sketch challenge and came up with this card!  A pretty simple card really. Used M.L.P.W Rectangle and Square nesting dies - TRIBAL to die-cut some paper, stamped Unity's (Bee)cause I care Stamp of the Week a few times, coloured with Prismacolor pencils and its done!  I also added Wink of Stella - clear to the bees wings which you can see a little better in the photo below. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget I'm hosting a creative challenge - open to all! For details head on over to my  Facebook group  - You could win an awesome prize and the best part is you don't need to use any My Little Paper World products to enter (though nice to see if you do!)  Happy Crafting! Unity SOTW

Image
A few years ago I subscribed to Unity S.M.A.K stamp kits . Loved them...but after a year I decided to stop, and allow myself time to play with the rather large collection of stamps that had come from being a member for that year!  Recently, (and after a rather large stamp clean out sale!) I decided that it was time to renew my membership but this time I would try Unity's Stamp of the Week - why? Because I fell in love with this stamp!!!.  It came in the mail this week, and I couldn't wait - the idea was there before I had even purchased it!  Supplies Used: Unity S.O.T.W (Second Chancces), My Little Paper World Rectangle & Circle Nesting Dies - TRIBAL, Prisma Color Pencils. Being that it's snail mail and it has to be sent from the US to Australia - I'll have to be patient and wait a little longer to get it - but I'm rather looking forward to my next snail mail delivery from Unity . If your interested in details on what Unity SOTW is...

How organised for mother's day are you???

Image
So who here has sorted their mother's day cards out? I'm one smart cookie, I'm 1 year in advance! So I've now made my mother's day card for next year plus a few more for special orders. :) This (or should I say next) years card is a pretty simple one! I got some unity stamps in the mail this week and decided to combine two of them. I also decided to make a friendship card (as this was the original sentiment with the butterfly stamps). I stamped them on Kraft (my go to...) then coloured outside the lines of the butterfly. Add some twine and enamel dots and you've got a card!!! Of course...I used My Little Paper World dies, this time I managed to use the circle nesting dies - TRIBAL which I haven't had a chance to use yet!  Heads up there will be on sale for my dies on mother's day (which I will get to celebrate with my 2 boys and #3 who is due not soon enough!)    Here is the card for some mother's day inspiration! Inspired by...

Hello... Just a quick share today. I made these cards after being inspired by a Unity video shared by Heather Hoffman . Card link here . Such a simple, yet awesome idea! White pencil on kraft...I love it!!! This was Day 6 efforts for The Daily Marker's 30 day colour challenge. I didn't have a lot of time today, and this was a super quick way to get some colouring in... Thanks for stopping by!   Samantha

Colouring in Challenge - a finished card...

Image
So it took 3 days to finish colouring in this stamp! Which for me... and my always on the go boys, is pretty good! For those reading my blog for the first time - I'm participating in Kathy's (AKA The Daily Marker) 30 day Colour Challenge. My first stamp was Whipper Snapper Designs - Bow Wow Birthday. A bigger stamp - something I'd normally not buy because it just takes too long for me to finish. So it was perfect for this challenge. I coloured over the 3 days (10-30mins each day - interrupted!) and finished it today :) YAY!!! Here is the finished card. This little pooch is so cute - I've called her twitch after my sister's little dog. Very please with how it turned out - A few times I felt like giving up. Not the best with prisma pencils, choosing colours and finding my 'colour' groove was a challenge (which is all part of the fun!) Entered into Virginia's View Challenge - All this Coloured. This is my next project: Day 4 Lo...
