You are TEA-riffic!

Image
I'm big on repetitive stamping at the moment! Take a image, stamp it (either randomly or with some sort of order), colour it in (or in this case colour some of it in!) and assemble a card...  This card uses Unity Stamp - Tea Love . I went around each image with prismacolor pencils and used washi tape, enamel dots and My Little Paper World Corner dies to give it a little more interest!  I really like how bold and bright this card turned out and... I was able to use some left over card stock - I've been clearing out a few craft items and didn't want to waste those cut off bits that I'm sure we all collect!  Entered into SSS - Anything Goes Thanks for stopping by and don't forget I'm hosting a creative challenge - open to all! For details head on over to my  Facebook group  - You could win an awesome prize and the best part is you don't need to use any  My Little Paper World  products to enter (though nice t...

You're Not Old!

Don't you love it when a card just creates itself? I do! This card came together so easily, that I made a few to add to my card stash collection! I used My Little Paper World Rectangle Nesting Dies - TRIBAL, washi tape, some gold card, sequins, glitter and of course my latest purchased stamp from Unity - Vintage - Older Than Me. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget I'm hosting a creative challenge - open to all! For details head on over to my  Facebook group  - You could win an awesome prize and the best part is you don't need to use any My Little Paper World products to enter (though nice to see if you do!)  Happy Crafting! A Super Quick Card!

Image
Just sharing another card I made (with the help of master 2 1/2yo). Stamp is unity -  Vase with stripes.  C oloured with prisma pencils and gamsol. A super quick card to make as master 2 1/2yo did most of the work. I just added some washi tape, sequins, twine and a stamp I coloured in during the week (for practice)  :) Entered into  ARTastic Inspiration Photo Challenge . Link to Unity Friends with Flair. SSS - Anything Goes Challenge Thanks for stopping by.  Samantha

My FIRST step by step TUTORIAL...Enjoy!

It's already August!!! I have been such a busy crafter, and can't wait to show you what I've been up to...for now though here is my first step by step tutorial for a ATC I created. ATC Theme: Seasons Title: Autumn Quote: “Autumn ~ the year’s last loveliest smile.” – William Cullen Bryant Products Used: o Black Card Stock x2 o White Card Stock x1 o KaiserCraft 6x6 Black and White Timeless Paper Pad (the leaf patterned paper) o Distress Ink Pads - Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge Aged Mahogany, Dried Marigold and Spiced Marmalade o Maple Leaf Stamp o Washi Tape o Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad o Brilliance Pigment Ink – Galaxy Gold o Glue and Double Sided Tape o Distressing Tool o Scissors o Silhouette Cameo (though it’s easy enough to cut these with your paper trimmer) First cut your card stock to an Artist Trading Card size (3.5x2.5”). I used my Silhouette Cameo which I created a template, for both the ATC and a card slightly smaller than the A...

Hello and welcome!

Image
Hello and welcome! For my first blog post ever I wish to share with you a piece I created during the week. This was a competition challenge from Scrappit  that had to include: mixed media textures, a metal embellishment, at least one stamped image and flowers. This is what I created: Of course I am hoping to win my first ever challenge, but to be honest I am just happy that I created something that isn't something I would normally create. I was also happy to use my Gelli Printing Plate for the second time since I got it and plan to use it again, and again and again.  Here is another picture to show more details: I used white card stock and a masking technique (with ripped paper) to create the border with a mixed media stamp from Prima. I then created the background using acrylic paints and my gelli plate. I also added a page from a random book that you can see under the green grass.  A lot of this was me playing around with masking and stamping...
