My Little Paper World

Awhile ago I ordered my first MFT card kit - of which I haven't had the chance to play with...yet! But in this order I added a stamp set that I've wanted since it's release and this week had a chance to play with it as well as my TomBow markers!  I wanted to make a CAS card - really nothing too fancy, I just wanted to make these birds as vibrant as I could... So I used most of the colors from MFT color challenge and created this card. I first die cut MLPW Rectangle Nesting TRIBAL die using watercolour paper, stamped the sentiment then added the birds. I didn't use water (as TomBow markers can be water colour) but instead used the blending marker to blend the colours together. I'm Back!!! Well it was suppose to be a short break....but what can I say? I had a beautiful baby boy, and have for the last year devoted my time to my boys who are my world. But that doesn't mean I haven't been crafting, I just haven't had the time to blog...even now as I write this, I predict that blog posts will be kept short, with lots of  blurry photos and spelling mistakes!! During the day I get around 30mins 'me' time (if I'm lucky), so this card was made rather quickly, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It's my first 'shaker' card, and I can see how fun these cards can be. I can't wait to make more cards like this (time permitted). I also had a colour using my TomBow Brush pens which have been lying around the craft room waiting to be used.
