My Little Paper World

Hello everyone!  I have a super fun card I'd like to share with you today! This is a card I created for Beth Duff Designs - first ever release! The stamp set I used is called Unicorn Farts (How funny is that!) and its the reason I am so happy to have been asked to guest design - because we all know I really LOVE unicorn stamps! Here is the card: I've taken a few close up photos (perhaps a little overboard...) because there are just so many elements to this card. I've used a few dies (rainbow, sun, clouds) to create my background. I played around with corrugated card, vellum, plain cardstock, even felt material because I love adding textural elements to my cards. There is a lot of machine stitched details and of course I've added cute little stamped images from the Unicorn Farts set to bring the card all together.  The Unicorns are coloured in with Copics and I added a lot of glitter! I created this card using one of Beth Duff Designs digi stamps that she's provided to a select few who are trying out for her design team. Try outs aside - I really loved this image and had the perfect sentiment to partner with it.  Here is the card: When I saw this digi stamp I knew I wanted to create a wave like background - I would normally stamp more, create patterns but this wasn't the option available so... I decided to use a Lawn Fawn die set (Hillside Borders) to create my waves using different shades of blue cardstock. I even used some corrugated card (which flattened slightly in my Cuttlebug), and some vellum. Some card I even embossed then I added sequins and machine stitched lines - this card is very textural! This is probably one of the brightest cards I've ever created! All inspired by this super cute dinosaur digi stamp which is available (free) over at Beth Duff Designs blog for her very first challenge! This guys little face is how I feel some days - Old but still young at heart, "trying to be cool"... I've caught my eldest child giving me the 'what are you doing' look a few times... I decided to create  a birthday shaker card using a combination of Lawn Fawn and Concord and 9th balloon dies. I created my card base using left over bits of corrugated card and featured little die cut hearts which I then added machine stitched lines in co-ordinating colours. I kept the  same colour theme throughout the card and opted to only colour in parts of the dinosaur using my Copic markers. I call him my little white dinosaur.
