My Application for Paper Flourish Design Team.

If you've read my last post, you would know that I'm in the awful process of packing up household belongings ready to move back home in 2 weeks. However, I'm not surprised that a few craft supplies never made their way into a box and that a few have made their way out! And....even though I'm suppose to be packing up it hasn't stopped me from buying MORE craft supplies!  Anyways, here is a card I created specifically for paper flourish design team call out. You can find out more details about the DT call out here ....(open within Australia for those who wish to apply!). I created this card using Kaisercraft -Hello Sunshine paper and their Cherry Blossom Clear stamp. I also embellished using Kaisercraft black pearls. It was also my first go at using one of mama elephant dies and I totally love how it finishes this card. Oh! I also added a background stamp (on the white card stock) another Kaisercraft clear stamp - Believe. ...

Tag Swap...a first!

Here are some Drogonfly themed tags I created for a swap. My very first! I thought that this would be an easy challenge, after all they're a lot bigger than a ATC. How was I wrong... I changed my idea 3 times before I came up with this... At first, I wasn't at all happy with what I created. It just didn't feel finished... or perhaps it was the colours that I had chosen? Something was missing... so I added a strip of gold distress paint (as you can see) around the edges and Voila'! L.O.V.E IT! Hope my swab group does to! Happy Crafting!    Samantha

Don't have a lot of time today....So sharing this quickly :)

This is going to be a rather quick post but I just wanted to share another fantastic ATC I created for this Month of July. Loving the time theme chosen over at Scrap With Us.  This is one of my favourites, love themes that make you think 'outside the box'!  Check them out!!  I used Dylusion sprays (Postbox Red and Black Marble) for the broken hearts and Black Soot Distress Ink Pad to darken the edges. The heart is stamped, a KaiserCraft stamp (Tic Toc). I used book paper to create both the background and the heart of the ATC. Lots of distressing and a fitting quote: Time Heals Most Wounds. Challenges: I will be entering this into the  Stampotique Designers Recycle It Challenge  as I recylced book paper.  In fact, I now have a very large book collection that I keep for scrapbooking/crafting purposes and should think about crafty ways that I can use this (free) book paper more.   ARTastic - Black & White and pr...
