Craftie Café: Geared for Father’s Day
I’m back with another Father’s Day Card for Craftie Café! I don’t make a lot of masculine cards – but given the right tools I absolutely love creating them. Most of my masculine cards are created with a certain person in mind (which is probably why they’re so much fun to make) – I purposefully use stamps/dies that I know they will like. In this case both my dad and husband enjoy cars and moving parts. So today's cards I’m using two gear dies and I’ve made them a little interactive because WHY not!!! Here is the first card: This was a pretty simple card to make. First I die-cut the gears a couple of times using black card. I used the same technique I used in my last blog post (see video here ) to create some dimension for three of the gears. Using pencil I marked where these gears would be place on the card.
