My Application for Paper Flourish Design Team.

If you've read my last post, you would know that I'm in the awful process of packing up household belongings ready to move back home in 2 weeks. However, I'm not surprised that a few craft supplies never made their way into a box and that a few have made their way out! And....even though I'm suppose to be packing up it hasn't stopped me from buying MORE craft supplies!

Anyways, here is a card I created specifically for paper flourish design team call out. You can find out more details about the DT call out here....(open within Australia for those who wish to apply!).

I created this card using Kaisercraft -Hello Sunshine paper and their Cherry Blossom Clear stamp. I also embellished using Kaisercraft black pearls. It was also my first go at using one of mama elephant dies and I totally love how it finishes this card. Oh! I also added a background stamp (on the white card stock) another Kaisercraft clear stamp - Believe.

I have to add, though I've stamped with Kaisercraft clear stamps before, that I wasn't completely satisfied with how this stamped sentiment turned out. After a bit of googling and asking around through Facebook craft pages, I found that this can be common with some clear stamps due to a film residue left in the creating process. I tried a few suggestions (washed stamped with stamp cleaner/warm soapy water, rubbed it on jeans, rubbed it on my arm). I still wasn't 100% happy and I have contacted Kaisercraft on facebook (who were very friendly) their reply however, was that I'll hear from someone within the kaisercraft team who will be able to help me with this issue....though in the end I like that the stamped sentiment has a rustic/crayon like look to it. I will share their news in a later post with their suggestions on how to create a more crisper image using their clear stamps.

Also here is a little flashback Friday (on Sunday) of previous crafty goodness created by me, using (mostly) kaisercraft products.

I really love the card I created to showcase Kaisercraft for the paper flourish design team call out. Id love to know what you think? Perhaps some suggestions you've tried if you've come across the same stamping issue?
