Crazy Birds...

I couldn't help myself...
Last week I splurged on craft supplies. Specifically, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous 'Crazy Bird' Stamps and their accompanying dies...as well as the 'Crazy Talk' and the 'Crazy Thoughts' stamps.

To be honest....I didn't even try to stop myself! 

WHY???

These stamps are fantastic! I didn't really like them at first either...but then saw Kristina Werners take on it and fell in love with that sad bird face and sentiment!

They were pretty easy to colour too...I don't particularly like my prisma pencils (not because they're not good, but because I'm never really happy with my colouring technique when using them...) but they worked so well with these birds on kraft card. It took probably 5-10mins max to colour each one!

Yippee!! A Super Quick Card!

Just sharing another card I made (with the help of master 2 1/2yo). Stamp is unity -  Vase with stripes.  C oloured with prisma pencils and gamsol. A super quick card to make as master 2 1/2yo did most of the work. A Spring Inspired Card...

This week (or should I say the last few weeks) have been super crazy busy! We got good news, my Hubby renewed his work contract with the option to move back home to Adelaide (which of course we jumped at!) So...we are now packing our belongings in to boxes and the worst room is...come on! have a guess! :) Yup!! My craft room... But its mostly packed up, with the exception of a few stamps, paper packs, a handful of embellishments and my copic markers.  Last week, in between all the craft room packing (I got distracted a few times!) I created this card, its from Unity's ...bunches of love stamps. I decided to make a few, I hate having left over paper, so I tend to create a card (generally for someone's birthday coming up) and then duplicate it so I have a stash of cards for those occasions you forget someones birthday coming up!  This was the perfect stamp set to do this!
