How many Friday's till Christmas?

Image
I have no idea how many Friday's till Christmas but I am sure that someone will post it on Facebook to remind me everyday that its closer then it feels it is!  But from August till November its pretty much birthday after birthday after birthday - and normally I'm in a mad rush from December to get all my Christmas cards, tags and decorations done but this year I've started early (earlier than I normally would) and it heaps that there are lots of challenges to provide me with incentive to get them done.  This card is for Unitys (show & tell) weekly challenge. Details can be found here .  I used their Always Pick Naughty Stamp along with My Little Paper World Rectangle nesting dies and some old Christmas paper I've had lying around.  Copics: T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, E1, R20, YR23, R46, R29. Have you made all your Christmas cards/tags this year? or ... are you like me and leave it to the last minute? Cards also entered into Simon Sa...

Playing with Unity...

It's quite difficult to catch up on blog sharing when there are cards to be made and challenges to enter! I have a few cards that still need to be finalised (blog wise) but they'll have to wait as I really wanted to take part in a few challenges (listed below) this week! So I started up my subscription (again) with Unity KOTM - since I live in Australia snail mail takes forever, but I now have two kits (cant wait for the third) and I finally had some time to play with Septembers Kit - Moments between Moments.  Here are the cards - I made quite a few - I loved the sunflower image and since I have a good supply of yellow, red, and orange copic markers I decided that I would do some colouring. The sunflower stamp in this kit is quite large - here I masked the sunflower so that I could repeat the sunflower a few times. Using my MISTI also made the stamping process relatively quick for multiple cards. The sentiments that come in these kits a...

Still Catching Up!

So most of my cards are stamped with Unity Stamps - I love red rubber stamping and they have such a large variety that I can purchase a whole bunch at a time and get the most out of postage costs! Plus they always have sales! BONUS!  So this card I made a few weeks back, originally with intentions to make it very colourful! Unfortunately time was not on my side, I got the background done (in white) and loved it, so... I left it as is.  I added a few strips of white using My Little Paper World stitched line dies and some white dots with a gel pen.  Happy Crafting!  Samantha These premium steel dies are compatible with most die-cutting machines such as Cuttlebug, Vagabond or Bigshot.  Prices (in AU$) see here and PayPal available. Whoops...How did I miss sending this post!

So...having the time to create just got more challenging (now that baby #3 has arrived!) and my poor blog has well and truly been neglected - so its catch up time for a few cards that I've made over the last few weeks. To be honest its nothing special - no fancy technique used, just your basic ink up and stamp! But I've had this darkroom door stamp for awhile and had no other plans but to ink and stamp it on a card because the design is sooooo darn cute! Note: I also wanted to be able to finish the card (uninterrupted) so the more basic the better! Here is the finished card. Sweet and Simple!  Entered into SSS - Anything Goes Challenge  & CASology - cute The above dies are still available for purchase along with the rest of My Little Paper World dies and sequins - more information can be found  here . International Postage Available. PayPal available. Happy Crafting and here is hoping that Ill have some more tim...
