Another Catch Up Card!

A quick share of a few cards I made awhile ago - I'm quite a fan of paper piecing and its a great alternative to colouring (a lot quicker and something you can do in front of the t.v!) 

This cute little image is a Unity stamp called - One Little Latte






I even took the time to stamp the sentiment inside the card (which I normally leave blank!) But really should do it more often as its a great way to get more use out of all the stamps I seem to be collecting!

A Spring Inspired Card...

This week (or should I say the last few weeks) have been super crazy busy! We got good news, my Hubby renewed his work contract with the option to move back home to Adelaide (which of course we jumped at!) So...we are now packing our belongings in to boxes and the worst room is...come on! have a guess! :) Yup!! My craft room... Guest Designer: Beth Duff Designs (+ Blog Hop!)

Hello everyone!  I have a super fun card I'd like to share with you today! This is a card I created for Beth Duff Designs - first ever release! The stamp set I used is called Unicorn Farts (How funny is that!) and its the reason I am so happy to have been asked to guest design - because we all know I really LOVE unicorn stamps! Here is the card: I've taken a few close up photos (perhaps a little overboard...) because there are just so many elements to this card. I've used a few dies (rainbow, sun, clouds) to create my background. I played around with corrugated card, vellum, plain cardstock, even felt material because I love adding textural elements to my cards. There is a lot of machine stitched details and of course I've added cute little stamped images from the Unicorn Farts set to bring the card all together.  The Unicorns are coloured in with Copics and I added a lot of glitter! Unity Challenge

So I've been a little quiet this last week on my blog but I have been super busy (still settling in/unpacking boxes) and getting creative. Today I'm sharing a quick card I created for this months unity's challenge (my second entry for this month)... I wanted to create something bold with funky patterns and this paper was perfect. I used stamps: Have some Sass and another stamp from the SMAK kit February 2015.  I followed the sketch (see below) very loosely - wanted to change it up a little :) Enjoy!       This is my FWF entry for this week and entered into Simon Says Stamp: Lets get sentimental Challenge.
