Growing in Unity: Day 4
You're back! Day 4 for my Growing in Unity week!
If you haven't already notice (and I'm sure you have!) I am a BIG fan of white card. I wouldn't go far enough to say my style is Clean and Simple - as I like to add subtle elements such as sewn stitched lines, layered elements and sequins but it's definitely Clean and something... Today's cards have all the above elements in them.
Small stamps are awesome! I love repetitive stamping - so finding patterns, creating my own background, turning small stamps into the main feature is something that I creatively enjoy doing. I hate Maths but my brain will always figure out the many ways a small stamp can fit on a A2 sized card front.
A few ways apparently... here are two more cards I created playing around with this set.
Tomorrow is my last day as a Growing in Unity girl but I'd love to inspire you more so please feel free to follow me on Instagram: My Little Paper World or subscribe for blog emails. Don't forget to leave a comment for Unity's sponsored giveaway - drawn at the end of my week.
Do you have a collection of small stamps? How do you like use them?
Happy Crafting!

ReplyDeleteCute cards. Great kit. So versatile.
ReplyDeleteI do not have a sewing machine handy to sew but I love the coloring of your card. The colors stand out and love the use of stamp. I have some small ones I must try this and see how I can do.. Have to learn to go outside my comfort zone.
ReplyDeleteLove your cards!!! What a great way to make a small stamp be the BIG show.... gave me some great ideas!!! Thanks!! Have been enjoying your creations this week.
ReplyDeleteMore great designs, I love how you use stitching on your cards too
ReplyDeleteI love A2 cards and keeping them simple as well. Mailing is a concern.
ReplyDeleteThis is a cute set. The hearts on your first card remind of sweet tarts that you buy for Valentine's Day. :-) Yummy! Darling cards. I have a collection of stamps alright! lol Too many as I never seem to get enough use out of them and many I've never even inked.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!
ReplyDeleteGreat CAS cards! I really like seeing all of the different ways you use your smaller stamps on cards. I also just LOVE the stitching you added on your cards. Congrats on a week as GIU girl- awesome fun!

ReplyDeleteI've noticed you're an Aussie (me too, and in Adelaide too) and that you mention an A2 sized card above. So do you make cards in the US size? I tend to think around Aussie sizing, but notice that some dies are really designed to fit perfectly on a US A2 sized card and so it puts me off buying some things. Actually to be honest I haven't even really done a comparison of what an A2 looks like compared to A6 (Aussie) - I haven't bothered doing the inches conversion - so maybe there's not that much difference after all?
ReplyDeletePretty cards and fun colors
ReplyDeleteSweet card designs. I like the stitching.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the tic tac toe look. Very cut.
ReplyDeleteThey are sweet cards. Great design, too.
