I'm Back!!!

I'm Back!!!

Well it was suppose to be a short break....but what can I say? I had a beautiful baby boy, and have for the last year devoted my time to my boys who are my world.

But that doesn't mean I haven't been crafting, I just haven't had the time to blog...even now as I write this, I predict that blog posts will be kept short, with lots of  blurry photos and spelling mistakes!!

During the day I get around 30mins 'me' time (if I'm lucky), so this card was made rather quickly, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

It's my first 'shaker' card, and I can see how fun these cards can be. I can't wait to make more cards like this (time permitted). I also had a colour using my TomBow Brush pens which have been lying around the craft room waiting to be used. I stamped with Unity Itty Bitty - Happy Chick Birthday. I ended up printing out a 'happy bithday' sentiment because the sentiment that came with the stamp didn't quite fit with how I wanted to layout the card. Hopefully I can feature it in another card...

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your inspired to try your own shaker card! If not, check out my Pinterest board here - there are some great cards made by some great crafters/artists!
