Playing with Unity...

It's quite difficult to catch up on blog sharing when there are cards to be made and challenges to enter! I have a few cards that still need to be finalised (blog wise) but they'll have to wait as I really wanted to take part in a few challenges (listed below) this week!

So I started up my subscription (again) with Unity KOTM - since I live in Australia snail mail takes forever, but I now have two kits (cant wait for the third) and I finally had some time to play with Septembers Kit - Moments between Moments.

Here are the cards - I made quite a few - I loved the sunflower image and since I have a good supply of yellow, red, and orange copic markers I decided that I would do some colouring.

The sunflower stamp in this kit is quite large - here I masked the sunflower so that I could repeat the sunflower a few times. Using my MISTI also made the stamping process relatively quick for multiple cards.

The sentiments that come in these kits are wonderful! I used all but two to make these cards.

Copics Used: Y11, Y15, Y18, Y19, YR09, YR14, YR15, YR18, YR19, R02, R05, R17, R46, R39.
Dies: My Little Paper World Rectangle Nesting Dies, Simon Says Stamp - Wavy Scalloped Stiches

I have to mention a BIG thank you to the girls (at Unity {show and tell} who advised what ink to use on vellum - I've had StazOn Ink since I first start scrapbooking many many years ago - and luckily it was stored very well and still had enough ink (just) to create these cards. Needless to say some refill ink is on its way as stamping on vellum is such a lovely touch to a card - everyone should try it!

The card (very loosly flipped on its side) follows their little sketch challenge currently running this week. You can find all the details over on their facebook group - here. I'll also be entering this in Simon Says Stamp - Monday Challenge - Autumn.

I really can't believe I waited this long to stamp on vellum!

Happy Crafting and thanks for stopping by!

Samantha
