The last two weeks I've been making Easter cards using a Simon Says Stamp Set called My Kind of Peep. I didn't really get any of the sentiment though...it might be American Slang? but none of the sentiments were appropriate. So...at first I just printed a few sentiments out (I'll share these cards with you soon.) I then realised (lets call it a moment of clarity from a sleep deprived mother of three...) that I have at least TEN alphabet stamps and coordinating dies that allow me to make my own sentiment! So using the Bunny from the SSS My Kind of Peep set and a few alphabet stamps (WPlus9, Sweet Stamp Shop, Paper Smooches) I made these two baby cards... I really love the WPlus9 alpha set. I'm still making a few more cards using a combination of these stamps but I thought I'd share and remind you all to use those alphabet stamps!!! So during the week I made a few cards using Lil' Inker Designs stamps and since I had the stamps and inks out I continued to make a few more over the weekend.  I normally prefer to colour my images - but I have a rather large collection of 'solid' type stamps that until now I haven't used due to not enough ink colours or I just haven't been happy with the stamped result. I finally invested in a few sets of ink pads (Gina K, Delicata Metals Pack and Altenew). I then bought some Neenah Solar White (Smooth) card (which I noticed had positive reviews on several facebook craft groups) and I've had my MISTI for awhile now and knew that this would eliminate any stamping mistakes I made. I'm super happy with these cards - they're simple. This week has been crazy busy! Sunday was Phoebe's baptism, Monday a public holiday...and I feel like I've done nothing all week but clean, cook and clean again! and....and...my house still looks messy! Plus side - we wont go hungry! This week I did manage to make a few cards. I wanted to give my new Gina K inks a go, so after making a swatch sheet I got out some Lil Inker stamps and got creative. I created these with the intention of entering them in a few challenges (some of which I missed the deadline...ah well...).  The first card is very feminine, purples, pink, and yellow. The second more masculine - monochromatic using shades of grey and black. The stamp set is Lil' Inkers - Hello Beautiful .
