A little something for me...

Last week I spoiled myself. Though not necessarily an impulse buy as I did do a fair bit of research into this product, it was certainly an expensive splurge. So...what did I buy you ask? (Drum roll please)

A 36 pack of derwent Inktense pencils


I just absolutely love these pencils. They are so easy to use and being a high pigment pencil the colours just 'pop'. I haven't been able to do much with them (yet!), it has unfortunately been a very hectic week. My little one has been sick and teething and over the weekend I had my stairs re-stained so I didn't had access to my craft room...but...I did manage to complete my April ATC's of which all 9 were coloured in using my new Inktense pencils.

Yippee!! A Super Quick Card!

Just sharing another card I made (with the help of master 2 1/2yo). Stamp is unity -  Vase with stripes.  C oloured with prisma pencils and gamsol. A super quick card to make as master 2 1/2yo did most of the work. I just added some washi tape, sequins, twine and a stamp I coloured in during the week (for practice)  :) Entered into  ARTastic Inspiration Photo Challenge . Link to Unity Friends with Flair. A Spring Inspired Card...

This week (or should I say the last few weeks) have been super crazy busy! We got good news, my Hubby renewed his work contract with the option to move back home to Adelaide (which of course we jumped at!) So...we are now packing our belongings in to boxes and the worst room is...come on! have a guess! :) Yup!! My craft room... But its mostly packed up, with the exception of a few stamps, paper packs, a handful of embellishments and my copic markers.  Last week, in between all the craft room packing (I got distracted a few times!) I created this card, its from Unity's ...bunches of love stamps. I decided to make a few, I hate having left over paper, so I tend to create a card (generally for someone's birthday coming up) and then duplicate it so I have a stash of cards for those occasions you forget someones birthday coming up!  This was the perfect stamp set to do this!
