New Stamps: The Stamp Market...

I've recently been purchasing a few new stamps from new stamping brands that seem to be popping up everywhere! The Stamp Market was one on my list - and their latest release pushed me over the edge - I just had to have them! 

They arrived very promptly (surprisingly! - as we all know when it comes to craft supplies snail mail seems to take even longer!) and I finally got to play with them over the last few days. 

I managed to make four cards using the Succulents stamp set and Best Ever Greetings stamp set. I based these cards on the (CAS)E this Sketch challenge which I missed the deadline to play for (I knew I would...) but it was such a great sketch for these stamps and I needed a little bit of inspiration to get me in to a creative mood. Here is the sketch and a direct link to where I should have linked the photos if I had finished these cards sooner and posted this blog!

The next two cards I steered away from the sketch slighter - though still using the same methology behind the background.




Stay tuned - I made another new brand stamp purchase that released some sweet Christmas themed stamps that I really couldn't say no to! Can you guess which one it is?

Yippee!! A Super Quick Card!

Just sharing another card I made (with the help of master 2 1/2yo). Stamp is unity -  Vase with stripes.  C oloured with prisma pencils and gamsol. A super quick card to make as master 2 1/2yo did most of the work. A Spring Inspired Card...

This week (or should I say the last few weeks) have been super crazy busy! We got good news, my Hubby renewed his work contract with the option to move back home to Adelaide (which of course we jumped at!) So...we are now packing our belongings in to boxes and the worst room is...come on! have a guess! :) Yup!! My craft room... But its mostly packed up, with the exception of a few stamps, paper packs, a handful of embellishments and my copic markers.  Last week, in between all the craft room packing (I got distracted a few times!) I created this card, its from Unity's ...bunches of love stamps. I decided to make a few, I hate having left over paper, so I tend to create a card (generally for someone's birthday coming up) and then duplicate it so I have a stash of cards for those occasions you forget someones birthday coming up!  This was the perfect stamp set to do this!
