SSS - August Kit of the Month

A couple of weeks ago I had a awful cold - in fact I still don't feel 100% better but during those few days (where I needed to carry a tissue box everywhere I went!) I really just wanted to have a little me time (did I mention - the kids and hubby all had the same thing...). I really wasn't in the mood for thinking and since the kids were waking up frequently during the night I also wanted an early night...I decided to pull out one of my Simon Say's Stamp cards kits and have a play.   

I actually made quite a few cards - though I did end up calling it a night and finishing a few more over the following few days. 

Here are the cards using SSS - August kit of the month.









In all honesty I think this stamp set and sticker are well suited for a scrapbook page - but I managed to pick a few of the stickers and work them in to these thank you themed cards.

Yippee!! A Super Quick Card!

Just sharing another card I made (with the help of master 2 1/2yo). Stamp is unity -  Vase with stripes.  C oloured with prisma pencils and gamsol. A super quick card to make as master 2 1/2yo did most of the work. I just added some washi tape, sequins, twine and a stamp I coloured in during the week (for practice)  :) Entered into  ARTastic Inspiration Photo Challenge . Link to Unity Friends with Flair. A Spring Inspired Card...

This week (or should I say the last few weeks) have been super crazy busy! We got good news, my Hubby renewed his work contract with the option to move back home to Adelaide (which of course we jumped at!) So...we are now packing our belongings in to boxes and the worst room is...come on! have a guess! :) Yup!! My craft room... But its mostly packed up, with the exception of a few stamps, paper packs, a handful of embellishments and my copic markers.  Last week, in between all the craft room packing (I got distracted a few times!) I created this card, its from Unity's ...bunches of love stamps. I decided to make a few, I hate having left over paper, so I tend to create a card (generally for someone's birthday coming up) and then duplicate it so I have a stash of cards for those occasions you forget someones birthday coming up!  This was the perfect stamp set to do this!
