Lil' Inkers: So Prickly

Today I wanted to quickly share three cards I created using Lil Inker stamp set: So Prickly. I used a variety of Gina K inks - the brightest colours possible, and used a fun technique called rock n' roll stamping (with the aid of my MISTI tool). 




I've used this technique quite a few times recently - and would highly recommend watching some Youtube videos and giving it a go yourself. I seem to own a lot of 'block' type stamps like this one and it's quite fun and relaxing - stamping away (with your favourite colours) while watching t.v.




The final card - I went stamp crazy! I created a background adding the sentiments and a heart to finish it off...

Unity Challenge

So I've been a little quiet this last week on my blog but I have been super busy (still settling in/unpacking boxes) and getting creative. Today I'm sharing a quick card I created for this months unity's challenge (my second entry for this month)... I wanted to create something bold with funky patterns and this paper was perfect. Guest Designer: Beth Duff Designs (+ Blog Hop!)

Hello everyone!  I have a super fun card I'd like to share with you today! This is a card I created for Beth Duff Designs - first ever release! The stamp set I used is called Unicorn Farts (How funny is that!) and its the reason I am so happy to have been asked to guest design - because we all know I really LOVE unicorn stamps! Here is the card: I've taken a few close up photos (perhaps a little overboard...) because there are just so many elements to this card. I've used a few dies (rainbow, sun, clouds) to create my background. I played around with corrugated card, vellum, plain cardstock, even felt material because I love adding textural elements to my cards. There is a lot of machine stitched details and of course I've added cute little stamped images from the Unicorn Farts set to bring the card all together.  The Unicorns are coloured in with Copics and I added a lot of glitter! A Spring Inspired Card...

This week (or should I say the last few weeks) have been super crazy busy! We got good news, my Hubby renewed his work contract with the option to move back home to Adelaide (which of course we jumped at!) So...we are now packing our belongings in to boxes and the worst room is...come on! have a guess! :) Yup!! My craft room... But its mostly packed up, with the exception of a few stamps, paper packs, a handful of embellishments and my copic markers.  Last week, in between all the craft room packing (I got distracted a few times!) I created this card, its from Unity's ...bunches of love stamps. I decided to make a few, I hate having left over paper, so I tend to create a card (generally for someone's birthday coming up) and then duplicate it so I have a stash of cards for those occasions you forget someones birthday coming up!  This was the perfect stamp set to do this!
