Uniquely Creative: Hip Hip Hooray (April Stamp & Colour Take #2 )

Last week I shared two fun interactive cards using Uniquely Creative's April Stamp & Colour Kit. Today I'm sharing a few more cards using this kit. These cards are probably my favourite makes for this month - aside from being very cute monsters I really enjoyed exploring my colouring technique with my Copic Markers.

Here is the first card:
This was actually the last card I created in this series - but it's my favourite so its being shared first! The stamp set is called Out of this World and I've paired it up with Uniquely Creative's: Hip Hip Hooray dies.

Each monster was coloured in with Copic markers then cut out with my Silhouette Cameo. I then repeated the same process with their little party hats with the same colours I had used for the monsters. To create my card base I die cut the 'Hip Hip Hooray' die on black card and filled in the gaps by ink blending on scrap white card then adhering them to the back.  I adhered my little monsters, added some googly eyes. Lastly I stamped my sentiment and embellished the card with sequins. I've also added machine sewn stitching to the card.
Copic Colours:
Monster #1:YG0000/YG00/YG01/YG03/YG05/YG06/YG07
Monster #2: RV00/RV000/RV02/RV04/RV06/RV09
Monster #3: Y21/Y23
Monster #4: BG000/BG01/10/BG11/BG15
The extra fun part of this card...!!! I added a wobble action spring to monster #2 (the one with the googly eyes)...
Check out the cute wobble action!

The next two cards I used the Uniquely Creative: Small Alphabet (Uppercase) dies to create my background. Aside from switching colours on the monsters I kept the colour scheme the same. I used Lawn Fawn Inks: Merman/Plastic Flamingo/Butter/Celery Stick. These were blended behind the negative space of the die. The sentiments were heat embossed in white on black card and I utilised the H and the I together by die-cutting them in black and adhering them to the card with foam tape.
Of course!...I also added googly eyes.
Because I had quite a few letters left over from the card above I decided to use them for my next card. I also added letters from the lowercase Alphabet die. I blended ink for a gradient look in the same ink colours mentioned above. I then positioned them on my card base like a jig saw puzzle. These were adhered to my card base. I then added the monster and the sentiments and embellished the card with sequins.
