Less is More: Challenge #347 - Sketch 21

It's been awhile since I've linked up to a sketch or colour challenge...but this sketch from Less is More inspired me.

Here is the sketch:

and here is the card:

Glitter is so difficult to photograph - it almost has a holographic look to it that I wish showed up more in the photos...

I did tweaked it a little by making the sentiment round - the original quote I wanted to use covered too much of the circles. Otherwise I pretty much followed the sketch.

I used Ink Road Stamps - Full Circle (love this set!) and because I've been using gold embossing powder way too much I decided to go with something a little less subtle...if glitter counts at subtle? The overlay circle stamps are embossed with WOW - Cloud9 embossing powder and to finish the card off I added a few My Little Paper World sequins.

Thanks for the sketch inspiration Less is More! :)

  1. This is so feminine and pretty Samantha. You've actually managed to photograph that glitter perfectly! Love how the glittery elements are offset from the circle too, as it adds interest to the layout. Thanks so much for popping this in to us at Less is More xx

  3. The subtle colours are so soft and pretty. I can just imagine how glittery this card is IRL. The popped up circle sentiment adds great dimension. A Sweet card! Thank you for joining us this week at Less is More. Trina :)
