Ink Road Stamps: Full Circle's are Blooming

Hello – I'm back with yet another card using Ink Road Stamp Full Circle! This card will be my sixth card (more if you include the variations of each one) using this Ink Road Stamp set. Today’s card however, I thought a little outside the box. I thought these fun circle patterns would make great flowers…and they did!
I didn’t exactly know what I wanted to do with my background at first – but I wanted to use a bit of black and white, then add bright colours for the flowers – to make them pop of the card. So I kept my background quite simple and opted for patterned paper.
I stamped the Full Circle stamps on two die-cut circles – I went with a bright colour first, then added black (choosing two of my favourite pattern stamps from the set) which added contrast and tied in with the background of the card. I machine stitched the stems of the flowers and grounded my flowers on the card using a grass die-cut. The leaves are also a die – but could quite easily also have been hand cut. I embellished the card with a few sequins, lastly adding one of my favourite sentiments from Ink Road Stamps – Modern Romance set.
The card below is a variation of the first – this time I changed the orientation of the card to fit a few more flowers. I also went with a cheeky sentiment from Modern Romance.
TIP: In the photo below you can see I’ve used foam tape to add a bit of dimension to the card – the flowers, leaves and grass as well as the sentiment…this gives the card a little added interest. It’s a great and simple way to add a special element to your cards.

I think I'll have to create a slideshow of all my cards using this stamp set - the possibilities are endless, even as I type I've come up with yet another different way to use this stamp set!

Happy Crafting!
