Elizabeth Craft Designs: A Wedding Card (Modascrap January Release)

Elizabeth Craft Designs are bringing out an awesome January release. So...all month, I (along with the Elizabeth Craft Designs design team) will be showcasing these products to show you what will be available and to give you a little inspiration along the way!

Modascrap is first up...They've release some awesome floral and wedding stamps/dies. I decided to play with the wedding stamp set. I created four cards and I'd probably have made more if time permitted...

I came up with a few design arrangements - though this stamp set could also be used to create 'save the date' invitations I stuck with the Mr and Mrs sentiment...been there done that (wedding that is)!

Here is the first card:

To create this card I first used Elizabeth Craft Designs - Dashing Rectangle to die-cut (in white card) my card front. I then stamped the tiny leaves stamp. I alternated shades of purple ink and also used gold embossing powder to create this background. Once the rows were stamped/embossed, I stamped the sentiment and used my silhouette to cut this out (if you don't own a cutting machine then you'll have to do it the old fashioned way with scissors). I repeated the cutting process on black card to create a shadow effect. I then adhered these to my card front - starting with the black cut out, followed by some gold twine and finally (using foam adhesive) the cut out stamped sentiment. I embellished the card with gold sequins and matted my card front to a grey card base.

Here are other examples of cards I created using this stamp set:

Supplies used:

Soft Finish Cardstock: Silver grey
Soft Finish Cardstock: Pewter
Clear Double Sided Adhesive: 3mm/6mm

Other:
Copic friendly card
Copic markers: V5/V6/V9/Y11/Y15/YR23

My Little Paper World - Gold sequins
Gold twine
Foam tape/Multi-medium matte
MISTI/Stamping block

Change the sentiment around and you could create your own personalised 'save the date'/wedding cards or use this set like I have to add some beautiful wedding themed cards to your card stash.
